Policy on Third Party Relationships   
Bridging the Gap may have contracts with Third Party organisations at some times for the purpose of delivering particular aspects of our service.

As a policy, whenever Bridging the Gap is in negotiation for a new contract or renewal of an existing contract it will attempt to ensure that the following requirements are included:

State what is required to be achieved by Bridging the Gap and the Third Party in order to secure its revenue under the contract.

Have a clear and accurate specification of the service to be provided to the client, including:
* The maximum time clients should wait for an appointment

* Who is entitled to use the service

* Our confidentiality procedure

* The required outcomes for employers and anticipated outcomes for the client

* The resources and materials the provider will make available to clients

* The extent to which the content of any report by Bridging the Gap for the Third Party will be disclosed to clients

* The basis and criteria for referrals to other providers or support services

* A requirement for evaluation of the service to determine the extent to which the needs of the client and the requirements of the employers have been metState all the criteria against which Bridging the Gap is to be measured.

* As a minimum the provider will comply with the Guidance Council’s Code of Principles.

* Specify that clients must be given accurate information about terms of the contract and the required outcomes for clients.

* State how often the contract will be renewed and when, how and by whom the review will be carried out.

* State how disagreements between the Third Party and Bridging the Gap will be resolved.

* Define under what circumstances the contract or agreement may be negotiated.

* Describe how conflict of interest between Bridging the Gap and its clients, the clients and the Third Party and Bridging the Gap and the Third Party will be addressed.
